Course Schedule
We will be covering a large amount of content this semester! The schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's are lab days! During these lab days, students will be working on projects in the lab. On Tuesday's and Thursday's, we will going over content in the form of lectures! If a student misses one of these days, they need to get into contact with Mr. Maiseroulle to see what they missed!

Woodworking Principles and CabinetmakingThroughout this course, students will spend a year discovering the wonderful world of woodworking. Course begins as students go through lectures including wood science and techniques for working with wood. They will learn lab safety and then complete an introductory project. After this project students will work in groups to complete a special project for teachers in the district. During this first semester, students will design and plan a personal project for themselves that they will complete the second semester. The entirety of the second semester will be the students working diligently on their own project of choice. Carpentry I and IIIn this in-depth course, students will spend their time learning the trade of Construction. This is a year long course. Students will spend the first semester going through safety, lectures about the history of construction, planning sites, and building materials for construction. The project for the first semester is building a scale doghouse in the same fashion as they would build an actual house. These doghouses will be then donated to local shelters for dogs. The second semester will be spent going over plumbing, residential wiring, and several other important factors regarding the area of Construction Management. They will also learn the basics of Home Repair to help build practical skills they can use throughout their lives.
